Using Network Integrator

Course Description:

This course teaches students how to engineer, set up, and configure an LNS-based LonWorks network of Circon HVAC Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) using Network Integrator network integration tool. This course is a must if you are:

  • A Controls Integrator
  • A Network Design Engineer
  • A Control Technician

Throughout the course, the student will learn the steps required to design and configure a LonWorks network and how to perform the configuration operations required to fully configure a network of Circon HVAC controllers (i.e., nodes) using Circon Network Integrator.

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Windows® XP, experience and knowledge of HVAC systems and control system terminology, and experience and knowledge of analog and digital electronic components as well as electricity and electrical concepts.

Introduction to Circon BASIC Programming

Course Description:

This course teaches students the fundamental concepts and applications of programming using the Circon BASIC Compiler to write Circon BASIC programs for Circon’s 300-series programmable controllers. This course is a must if you are:

  • A Controls Integrator
  • A Network Design Engineer
  • A Control Technician
  • A Network Installation Technician
  • New to the Circon BASIC programming language

Course Outline

  • Introduction to the 300-series programmable controllers
  • Selecting the right 300-series programmable controller based on the points list and sequence of operations
  • Understanding the structure of a Circon BASIC program
  • Using Circon BASIC Compiler
  • Controlling output points by assigning values

Using Circon Plug-ins

This course teaches students how to set up and configure an LNS network for Circon 300-Series Controllers. Students will learn the steps required to design and configure an LNS network using Network Integrator in conjunction with the Circon plug-ins. This course is a must if you are a:

  • Controls Integrator
  • Network Design Engineer
  • Control Technician
  • Network Installation Technician
  • Sales Engineer


Prerequisites:

  • Working knowledge of Windows XP
  • Using Network Integrator course.
